TIME TO CATCH UP!
We are now busy catching up on all the orders placed before the holiday break and getting them ready for the lab. We should be keeping our head down instead of updating the blog, but this picture of little Molly is too good not to spend a moment sharing it. It will soon be turned into a large canvas and will look absolutely gorgeous on her parents wall.

FIRST EVER NATIONAL AWARD FOR ETHOS

On Sunday 9th October, William Debois had the great honour of receiving the Award of Excellence for events photography for this image at the 2011 Master Photographer Association Awards diner. This prestigious photography competition attracted over 2500 entries from UK and international professional photographer and getting the top prize in one category means a lot. It was a genuine and touching surprise to see so much interest and and to read great comments about the winning image from people at the awards diner and on various websites. Many thanks to everyone for your support.

ANYA AND MILLIE RETURN
I first photographed Anya and Millie back in 2009 and it was lovely to have them back in the studio with their mum and dad the other day. This is one of my favourite images from the shoot.
MEET FLORENCE AND DORIS…
I have photographed many babies, I have photographed some ducks, but I can’t say I had photographed a baby and a duck together before today. Well, that’s one to tick off the list. It was a lovely session too and baby Florence was simply lovely and she hardly pulled any feathers off Doris the duck!
SURPRISING SUCCESS IN NATIONAL AWARDS
An email came in yesterday announcing that no less than four Ethos entries into The Master Photographers Association National Awards 2011 Competition had been awarded a Merit. They will also be considered for a Gold or Silver awards at the awards ceremony in October. This was quite a surprise as it was the very first time Ethos images had been entered into this prestigious competition attracting over 2500 entries.

LOADS OF PUPPIES!
I had the pleasure of photographing 9 puppies from one litter a few days ago. I can’t say it was an easy job as all puppies were already mobile and ready to go. They eventually settled down and I got some really exceptional shots. 3 of these little dogs are still available to buy if you can provide a good home. You can see them HERE
