Another great review

Another great review, this time from Miss Laura Black. If I may say so myself, it was indeed a very successful shoot, as you can judge from the sample below. Here is what Laura wrote:
“We had a lovely time doing the photoshoot, the childrenwere happy and interested and got involved in how they would like the photos would look. William was very patient and really got the best out of them. The photos resulting were fantastic, I could’ve bought them all! After initial booking we had to reschedule the shoot, and they were very flexible. We now have wonderful family pictures.”

We currently have the following position to be filled:

Job Title: Exhibition representative

The Role

Your role will be to promote our studio and the family portrait service we have been providing for the last 5 years, impressing people visiting our exhibition stand with the attention to individual needs we have built our reputation upon. You will be stimulating interest from customers by showing off our beautiful photographic work, highlighting the benefits of choosing Ethos as their professional portrait studio, generating leads, collecting full details and selling portrait vouchers. You will also share responsibility for both the quality of the overall presentation and service experience.

Are you the right person for the job?

Relevant experience and any special skills are welcomed, especially in the fields of sales and face to face promotion, but are not absolutly necessary, as training will be given to the right candidate.

We are looking for an outgoing and approachable person who must be target driven, self-motivated and confident. You will also be honest, reliable and smart in appearance, whilst being flexible and willing to travel within 30 miles of Plymouth.

Excellent communication with good listening and influencing skills are essentiel as you will often be the first point of contact between potential customers and the Ethos brand and product range.

Full clean driving licence and your own transport are essential.

Ability to work flexible hours including weekends. This is a part time role with a potential of 2 to 5 days per month.

This is a hugely rewarding job opportunity with a great hourly salary (£8 per hour) and fantastic commission, allowing protential earnings in excess of £100 per day.

A full CV will not be necessary to apply for this position, but you must write a covering email outlining why you feel you are right for the job to William Debois at info@ethosportraits.com, or write to Ethos, 2 Briston Orchard, St Mellion, PL12 6RQ.

Another brilliant review

Another brilliant review. What else can we say?: “My two sisters and I wanted a very special portrait of our 8 children for our parents Golden Wedding Anniversary. William put all children completely at ease and the photographs were stunning. The difficult part was choosing the ones for the final portrait! However with gentle advice and expert guidance a fantastic final portrait was completed. It will no doubt take pride of place in our parents house and be truly treasured. Thank you to Ethos for creating something so special.”

Horse riding photo-shoot

Yesterday’s shoot involved a top class horse rider and her stables near Liskeard. Incidentally, a number of other animals also tried to get in the pictures, including a chicken, two Jack Russells (one of them ended up chasing the chicken), a few thoroughbreds, and this 18 year old horse, who looked too lovely not to get a portrait of his own.

We were invited to produce a reportage of the Marine Biological Association’s activities for the National Science week. The kids had fun learning about marine science, but it doesn’t look like many of them liked the taste of seaweed.
